RS 56:699 - Participation in firearm and hunter education course in addition to penalties for hunting violations Whenever any person is convicted of violating any of the provisions of this Chapter governing the hunting or taking of wild birds or wild quadrupeds, other than by trapping, the court may in addition to imposing any fine or penalty provided for by law, order the offender to attend and participate in a firearm and hunter education course taught or approved by the department.
