RS 56:785 - Posting of land; stocking; rules and regulations The department shall post such wildlife refuges, wildlife management areas, public hunting grounds, upland game preserves, or wildlife sanctuaries with suitable signs located not less than every lineal quarter mile along the boundary lines of the wildlife refuges, wildlife management areas, public hunting grounds, upland game preserves, or wildlife sanctuaries, and shall properly stock the areas. The commission may make rules and regulations for the protection of the wild game and wild animal life within the areas and may properly fence, equip, or maintain the areas for the protection of the wild animal life and game.
