RS 6:134 - Judicial review; venue; effect A. A person aggrieved by a decision of the commissioner after the commissioner's decision upon reconsideration, may petition the court for judicial review of the decision. B. The petition for judicial review must be filed within thirty days of the mailing of the decision of the commissioner on the reconsideration of the original decision. C. A petition for judicial review shall be proper only in the district court of the judicial district in which the office of financial institutions is domiciled. D. Judicial review shall be by the court without a jury. E. The filing of the petition does not itself stay the decision or enforcement of the decision of the commissioner. The commissioner may stay or the court may order a stay of the decision upon application of the aggrieved party and upon appropriate terms. Acts 1986, No. 730, §1.
