RS 6:3 - Effect on existing banks The certificates of authority of state banks existing at the time of the effective date of this law shall continue in full force and effect, but all state banks and to the extent applicable all banks shall thereafter be operated in accordance with the provisions of this law; and, any state bank by filing an application to amend its articles of incorporation with the commissioner shall thereafter be subject to the provisions of this law.
