RS 6:531 - Declaration of policy It is declared to be the policy of this state to facilitate the economic development of this state, to promote a more efficient allocation of financial resources, to improve access to credit for Louisiana individuals and businesses, and to reinforce the overall stability and soundness of the Louisiana banking industry by permitting the orderly expansion of competition among banking institutions on a multistate basis.
