RS 6:622 - Pledge of assets A trust company may not pledge or create a lien on any of its assets except to secure the repayment of money borrowed or authorized or required by this Chapter or by rules adopted under this Chapter. An act, deed, conveyance, pledge, or contract in violation of this Section is void. Acts 2003, No. 573, §1, eff. June 27, 2003.
