RS 6:925 - Unlawful to destroy property A. It shall be unlawful for any person to conceal, destroy, damage, or remove any property, improvement, fixture, appliance, or equipment from any immovable property without the written consent of the association having an unpaid vendor's privilege or mortgage on the improvement, fixture, appliance, or equipment or on the immovable property itself. This prohibition applies to such property at all times, even when under foreclosure and in the hands of liquidators or under the custody and administration of the sheriff as provided in Code of Civil Procedure Articles 326 and 328. B. Whoever conceals, destroys, damages, or removes such property, or whoever aids, advises, and abets such person in these matters shall be fined not less than three hundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars or imprisoned for not less than three months nor more than one year, or both.
