RS 6:969.39 - Investigations and complaints A. The commission, if it has reason to believe that any licensee or any other person has violated any of the provisions of this Chapter, shall have the power to make such investigations as it shall deem necessary and, to the extent necessary for this purpose, the commission may examine such licensee or any other person and shall have the power to compel the production of all relevant books, records, accounts, and documents. B. Any borrower having reason to believe that this Chapter has been violated may file with the commission a written complaint setting forth the details of such alleged violation. The commission, upon receipt of such complaint, may inspect the pertinent books, records, letters of the lender and of the borrower involved relating to such specific written complaint.
