RS 8:604 - Improper construction a nuisance; penalty Every owner or builder of a structure erected or converted in violation of this Title shall be guilty of maintaining a public nuisance and, upon conviction, shall be punishable by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars nor more than five thousand dollars or by imprisonment for not less than one month nor more than six months, or both.
