RS 9:2084 - Loan by trustee to himself A corporate trustee shall not lend trust funds to itself or an affiliate, or to a director, an officer or an employee of itself or of an affiliate, unless the trust instrument provides otherwise. An individual trustee shall not lend funds to himself, or to his relative, employer, employee, partner, or other business associate, unless the trust instrument provides otherwise.
