RS 9:2450 - Succession representatives; liability for distributions A succession representative shall not be liable to the judgment creditor of a successor for any distributions made to the successor, including a distribution of the proceeds of the sale of immovable property as to which the judgment creditor had a judicial mortgage, unless the judgment creditor seized the interest of the successor in the estate before the representative made the distribution.
