RS 9:315.36 - Suspension of license; pattern of nonpayment Notwithstanding any other provisions to the contrary in this Subpart, the court on its own motion or upon motion of an obligee or the department shall issue an order of suspension of a license or licenses of any obligor upon proof of a pattern of nonpayment evidenced by his failure to pay child support on a regular basis, the remittance of payments of support only after continuous requests or legal action by or on behalf of the obligee, or the remittance of a de minimis amount of the child support owed.
