RS 9:3509.3 - Prepayment of loan In the absence of federal law, rules and regulations of federal agencies, and contractual provisions by the parties to the contrary, including provisions relative to the terms and conditions of prepayment, the debtor in any loan may prepay in full at any time the unpaid balance of all sums due and owing at that point in time. The provisions of this Section shall not be construed to supersede other provisions of law regulating the prepayment of loans. Acts 1987, No. 670, §1.
