RS 9:4702 - Notice to owner The person with whom the goods are deposited shall first notify the apparent owner by registered mail at his last known address that the unclaimed goods are to be placed on sale. The notice shall be given at least thirty days prior to the sale and shall set forth the date, time, and place of the sale.
