RS 9:4902 - Recordation unnecessary; effective period This privilege exists without the necessity of recordation, and is effective for a period of twelve months from the date upon which the materials or supplies are delivered or the labor is performed. In case of a running account of twelve months, the period is calculated from the date of the delivery or performance of the last item upon the account.
