RS 9:5014 - Enforcement of privilege on immovables alienated by heirs or legatees If an affidavit of his claim of privilege under R.S. 9:5011 has been filed for recordation as provided by R.S. 9:5013, a succession creditor or a particular legatee may enforce the privilege claimed against the immovable left by the deceased and alienated within three months of the death of the deceased, by a suit filed prior to the peremption of the inscription of his privilege against the then owner of the immovable and the heirs or legatees who have accepted the succession of the deceased.
