§341. Rights and privileges; interest in private claims prohibited Representatives of the press, who shall be actually engaged in sending daily reports of the doings of the Legislature to daily newspapers, shall have the privilege of the floor of the Senate and House of Representatives, and shall be subject to such rules as may from time to time be adopted by either branch of the Legislature. No such representative shall be interested in any private claim or measure pending before the Legislature, nor shall any such representative, while acting as correspondent for any daily newspaper, and as such correspondent having the privileges mentioned in this section, become interested in the prosecution of any such claim or measure.
