§1473. Geological characterization The State Geologist shall advise the Governor and the Legislature on the suitability of areas of the State for low-level waste disposal. In determining suitability, the State Geologist shall consider final rules for facility siting under 10 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 61, and other rules, as appropriate.
