§321-A. Appellate Division 1. Establishment. There is established within the board the Appellate Division, referred to in this subchapter as 'the division.' [PL 2011, c. 647, §20 (NEW).] 2. Composition. The division is composed of full-time administrative law judges who are appointed by the executive director of the board to serve on panels to review decisions under section 318. The executive director of the board shall appoint no fewer than 3 full-time administrative law judges to serve as members of a panel. An administrative law judge may not serve as a member of a panel that reviews a decision of that administrative law judge. An administrative law judge may be a member of more than one panel at the discretion of the executive director of the board. [PL 2015, c. 297, §15 (AMD).] 3. Rules. The board shall adopt rules of procedure designed to provide a prompt and inexpensive review of a decision by an administrative law judge.
