§53-D. Notice of registration An owner registering land as farmland shall notify all abutting landowners, as indicated on municipal or state tax records, by sending to the abutting landowners a statement of registration provided by the department. The owner shall send notification by certified mail, return receipt requested, within 2 days of submitting the registration in accordance with section 53‑B, subsection 2.
