§458. Exemptions 1. Producers. Producers are exempt from this subchapter when selling licensed commodities which they have grown, which they are presently growing or which they intend to grow. [PL 1981, c. 139 (NEW).] 2. Other persons. The commissioner, by rule, may provide an exemption from this subchapter for persons who deal in quantities of licensed commodities sufficiently small so as to not require the imposition of the standards of financial responsibility established by this subchapter. [PL 1981, c. 139 (NEW).] 3. Retailers. A retailer who sells licensed commodities to consumers is exempt from this subchapter with respect to those sales.
