§1454. Permit A person, partnership, association or corporation may not hold or conduct an auction without obtaining a permit from the commissioner a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the scheduled date of the auction. A person intending to hold auctions on a regular basis may apply for and be issued a permit valid for multiple dates at the location specified in the permit.
