Section 6-402 - General Penalty

(a) If a person violates this article and no penalty other than the suspension or revocation of a license or permit is provided, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 2 years or a fine not exceeding $1,000 or both. (b) If a court has imposed a penalty on an individual license holder who has obtained a license for or on behalf of a corporation, a partnership, or an unincorporated association: (1) if the penalty is a fine, the corporation, partnership, or unincorporated association also shall be liable for the payment of the fine; and (2) if the penalty is imprisonment, the individual license holder shall be liable to serve the term of imprisonment.
