Section 17-2004 - Beer Licenses

(a) (1) A holder of a Class A beer license may sell beer: (i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and (ii) subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day. (2) To sell beer on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection, the license holder shall pay an additional fee of $500. (b) (1) A holder of a Class B beer license may sell beer: (i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and (ii) except as provided in paragraph (4) of this subsection and subject to paragraphs (2) and (3) of this subsection, on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day. (2) To sell beer on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection, the license holder shall pay an additional fee of $500. (3) Sales of beer for on–premises consumption may be conducted on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection only by a licensed restaurant. (4) The license holder may not sell beer at a bar or counter on Sunday. (c) (1) A holder of a Class C beer license may sell beer for on–premises consumption: (i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m.

(3) Sales of beer for on–premises consumption may be conducted on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection only by a licensed restaurant.
