(a) The Board may impose a fine not exceeding $2,500 or suspend a license or both for a violation that is a cause for suspension of a license. (b) A penalty imposed under this section: (1) is in addition to and does not limit any other penalty for the same violation; and (2) is independent of any court action based on the same violation. (c) Fines collected under this section shall be paid into the general fund of the county.
