Maryland Legal Code
(a) There is a beer and wine tasting license. (b) The Board may issue the license to a holder of a beer and wine license or beer, wine, and liquor license. (c) The license authorizes the holder to allow the consumption of beer or wine for tasting if: (1) the license holder is authorized to sell the beer or wine; (2) the consumer is not charged for the beer or wine; and (3) the tasting does not occur during the Maryland Wine Festival in Carroll County. (d) The Board shall regulate: (1) the quantity of beer or wine served to each individual; and (2) the number of bottles of beer or wine from which this quantity is served. (e) In addition to the cost of the beer, wine, and liquor license or the beer and wine license, the Board shall charge: (1) an annual license fee of $100; and (2) an issuing fee of $100.
