Section 22-2802 - General Penalty

(a) A person who violates this article is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or a fine not exceeding $1,000 or both unless another penalty is specified. (b) (1) After a person is convicted for the illegal sale, offer of sale, or possession of alcoholic beverages, the Sheriff or other law enforcement officer in the county shall seize the alcoholic beverages and deliver them to the Board. (2) The Board shall sell the alcoholic beverages and pay the proceeds to the county Treasurer.
