Section 26-2502 - Hours When Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages Is Prohibited

(a) From 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. on any day, an individual may not consume alcoholic beverages: (1) in an establishment open to the public; (2) in a place of public entertainment; (3) at an establishment occupied regularly by a private club or organization; or (4) in a place at which setups or other component parts of mixed alcoholic drinks are sold directly or indirectly. (b) An owner, a manager, or an employee of an establishment or a place specified in subsection (a) of this section may not knowingly allow consumption of alcoholic beverages between the hours specified in subsection (a) of this section. (c) (1) A person who violates subsection (a)(1) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $50. (2) An owner, a manager, or an employee of a premises or place who violates subsection (a)(2) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 2 years or a fine not exceeding $1,000 or both.
