Section 14-302 - Practice by Corporate Officers and Employees

(a) An officer or employee of a corporation may practice engineering without a license if: (1) the corporation is engaged in research and development engineering for the federal government; and (2) the work of the officer or employee relates to that research and development engineering. (b) An officer or employee of a corporation may practice engineering without a license if: (1) the corporation is engaged in: (i) manufacturing; (ii) industrial processes; (iii) industrial engineering; or (iv) maintenance and repair of structures or equipment used in industrial processes or manufacturing; and (2) the work of the officer or employee relates to the products or systems of the corporation or its subsidiaries or affiliates. (c) An officer or employee of a corporation may practice engineering under this section only as the practice relates to the officer’s or employee’s work for the corporation.
