Section 16-203 - Chairman

(a) (1) From among its members, the Commission annually shall elect a chairman and a vice chairman, provided: (i) if a chair is elected from among the real estate appraiser members, then the vice chairman shall be elected from among the licensed home inspector members; and (ii) if a chair is elected from among the licensed home inspector members, then the vice chairman shall be elected from among the real estate appraiser members. (2) At the end of a term, the chairman and vice chairman may be reelected. (b) The chairman shall perform the duties that this title and the Commission require. (c) While in office, the chairman shall be covered by a surety bond in the form and amount required by law.
