Section 24-701 - Fees and Expenses

(a) A court may award to a receiver from receivership property or proceeds the reasonable and necessary fees and expenses of performing the duties and exercising the powers of the receiver. (b) A court may order one or more of the following persons to pay the reasonable and necessary fees and expenses of the receivership, including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs: (1) A person that requested the appointment of the receiver, if the receivership does not produce sufficient funds to pay the fees and expenses; or (2) A person whose conduct would have justified the appointment of the receiver under § 24–201(a)(1) of this title.
