(a) The trustees of a Methodist Church, whether or not it is incorporated, shall be elected by its charge conference in accordance with the discipline of the United Methodist Church, as authorized and declared by the general conference of that church. (b) As to a religious corporation subject to this part, the trustees of the church shall be the directors of the religious corporation.
