(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. (b) 'Chief Executive Officer' means the Chief Executive Officer of Maryland Correctional Enterprises. (c) 'Contracting unit' means a unit of State government that is: (1) authorized to contract for goods and services; or (2) responsible for procurement of goods and services. (d) 'Management Council' means the Maryland Correctional Enterprises Management Council. (e) 'Political subdivision' means a county, municipal corporation, or special taxing district.
