(a) There is a Baltimore City Detention Center in the Division. (b) The Baltimore City Detention Center is a pretrial detention facility for inmates committed or transferred to the custody of the Commissioner. (c) The Secretary may authorize the housing in the Baltimore City Detention Center of any inmate held in custody under any unit in the Department.
