(a) Each commissioner is entitled to: (1) compensation in accordance with the State budget; and (2) reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget. (b) The General Assembly may provide for an increase in the compensation of commissioners during their terms in the same proportion as any average compensation increase awarded to State employees generally.
