Section 8-401 - Subtitle Definitions

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. (b) 'Agreement' means the Interstate Agreement on Detainers, which is set forth in §§ 8-402 through 8-411 of this subtitle. (c) 'Appropriate court' means, with reference to the courts of this State, a circuit court of a county or the District Court. (d) 'Correctional institution' means, with reference to the correctional institutions of this State, any State or local correctional facility.
