Section 11-508 - Sale of Property Which Cannot Be Divided

(a) If the appraiser determines that the defendant’s property cannot be divided to satisfy a judgment without loss to the defendant, the sheriff shall sell the property. After the sale, the defendant is entitled to $100 from the proceeds of sale. (b) The sheriff may not sell the property if the proceeds of sale would be less than $100.
