§ 2-5a-04

(a) The personnel merit system shall be administered in accordance with this subtitle by the director of the personnel merit system. (b) (1) The director shall be appointed by the judges of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, on the recommendation of the judicial personnel committee. (2) The judges of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, on the recommendation of the judicial personnel committee, may remove the director for cause.
