(a) (1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated. (2) 'Comptroller' means the Comptroller of the State. (3) 'Executive Director' means the Executive Director of the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission. (b) If, in good faith and with reasonable grounds, the Comptroller, the Executive Director, or a peace officer of the State seizes contraband property or a conveyance used to transport contraband property under § 13–835 of the Tax – General Article, the Comptroller, Executive Director, or peace officer is not civilly or criminally liable for the seizure.
