Section 5-709 - Person Reporting Possible Grounds for Disciplinary Action Against Nurse

(a) (1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated. (2) 'Board' means the State Board of Nursing. (3) 'Licensed practical nurse' has the meaning stated in § 8-101 of the Health Occupations Article. (4) 'Registered nurse' has the meaning stated in § 8-101 of the Health Occupations Article. (b) An individual who acts without malice is not civilly liable for making a report as required by § 8-505 of the Health Occupations Article.
