Section 7-503 - Payment of Fine

(a) When a court imposes a fine, the court may order the defendant to pay the fine: (1) When the court imposes sentence; or (2) In specified installments at designated intervals. (b) (1) If a fine is payable in installments, the court may order that the payments be made to a probation agency or officer. (2) The probation agency or officer shall report to the court a failure to comply with the order. (c) If a court sentences a defendant to probation, the court may make payment of a fine a condition of the sentence.
