Section 10-136 - Definitions; Prohibited Persons

(a) (1) In this part the following words have the meanings indicated. (2) 'Table games' has the meaning stated in § 9–1A–01 of the State Government Article. (3) 'Video lottery employee' has the meaning stated in § 9–1A–01 of the State Government Article. (4) 'Video lottery facility' has the meaning stated in § 9–1A–01 of the State Government Article. (5) 'Video lottery terminal' has the meaning stated in § 9–1A–01 of the State Government Article. (b) (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, an individual under the age of 21 years may not: (i) play a table game or video lottery terminal in a video lottery facility; or (ii) enter or remain in an area within a video lottery facility that is designated for table game or video lottery terminal activities. (2) A video lottery employee who is an adult may enter or remain in an area within a video lottery facility that is designated for table game or video lottery terminal activities if the video lottery employee is working.
