Section 13-2001 - Definitions

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. (b) 'County commissioners' means the Board of County Commissioners of Queen Anne’s County. (c) 'Permit' means: (1) a multiple gaming device permit issued under § 13-2003 of this subtitle; or (2) a raffle permit issued under § 13-2004 of this subtitle. (d) (1) 'Raffle' means a lottery in which a prize is won by a person who buys a paper chance. (2) A 'raffle' is not a multiple gaming device regulated under § 13-2003 of this subtitle unless run in conjunction with an event that requires a multiple gaming device permit.
