In addition to a penalty imposed under this title, a court may require an individual to complete the educational program on acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) developed under § 18-339 of the Health - General Article if: (1) the individual pleads guilty or nolo contendere to, or is found guilty of, violating this title; and (2) the judge believes the individual will attend and benefit from the program.
