Section 6-505 - Striking Railroad Vehicle With Object

(a) In this section, 'railroad' has the meaning stated in § 1–101 of the Public Utilities Article. (b) A person may not willfully and maliciously strike a railroad vehicle on a railroad or on an electric railway in the State by: (1) shooting or throwing an object at the railroad vehicle; or (2) causing an object to fall on the railroad vehicle. (c) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 5 years or a fine not exceeding $1,000 or both.
