Section 11-501 - Definitions

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. (b) 'Victim' means a person who suffers direct or threatened physical, emotional, or financial harm as a direct result of a crime or delinquent act. (c) 'Victim’s representative' includes: (1) a family member of a victim who is a minor, an incompetent, or a victim of homicide; or (2) a guardian of a minor or an incompetent.
