(a) The Department shall submit an annual report to the General Assembly, in accordance with § 2–1257 of the State Government Article, that summarizes the details of its activities regarding private sector cooperative marketing projects that directly enhance promotion of the State and the tourism industry and that are exempt from State procurement law under § 11–203(a)(1)(xi) of the State Finance and Procurement Article. (b) The report required under subsection (a) of this section shall include the nonproprietary details of the activities of the private sector participants.
