(a) Subject to subsection (b) of this section, the members of the county board shall receive compensation set by the county council. (b) (1) The president of the county board is entitled to receive a minimum of $5,500 annually. (2) The other voting members of the county board are entitled to receive a minimum of $5,000 each annually. (c) The president of the county board and other members are entitled to reimbursement not to exceed $1,000 a year for travel and other expenses.
