Section 3-502 - Chair and Vice Chair

(a) The county board shall elect a chair and a vice chair from among its members at an annual meeting to be held on the second Tuesday in January. (b) If there is a vacancy in the office of chair or vice chair, the county board shall elect a replacement within 30 days after the vacancy occurs.
