Section 4-315 - Power to Tax and Protect School Property

(a) (1) The Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City may levy and collect taxes on the assessable property in Baltimore City necessary to pay all the expenses they incur for educational purposes. (2) These taxes shall be levied and collected as are other taxes.
